Official Kauaʻi court questions belong with the Hawaiʻi State Judiciary branch that holds the case. This private site cannot retrieve records or act for a court. The routes below distinguish Circuit and Family documents, District civil records, and District criminal or traffic files so a request reaches the proper Fifth Circuit clerk.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. We cannot obtain dockets for you, alter court dates, seal cases, issue certified copies, accept filings, or provide legal advice. Contact the Judiciary clerk or court directly.

  • Circuit or Family documents: email LegalDocs.5CC@courts.hawaii.gov.
  • District civil documents: email LegalDocs.5DC@courts.hawaii.gov.
  • District criminal or traffic documents: email CopyRequests.5DC@courts.hawaii.gov.

The central records counter is operated by Hawaiʻi State Judiciary clerks at Puʻuhonua Kaulike Building, 3970 Kāʻana Street, Līhuʻe, Hawaiʻi 96766-1256. The Fifth Circuit records number is (808) 482-2330, and the listed fax is (808) 482-2553. Call before visiting for an older file because off-site retrieval may be needed. The research does not establish general records-counter hours, so confirm current access by phone.

Courtroom 2 clerks can be reached at (808) 482-2645 for listed misdemeanor, DUI, DLNR citation, and leash-law matters. Traffic Operations uses (808) 482-2355 for tickets, abstracts, parking matters, and listed stopper or payment issues. Certified copies must be ordered from the clerk that maintains the original case file.
